Leaving aside health & safety and infrastructure issues pre C-19, the poll indicates that the two elements that prevented large scale remote working pre lockdown were peer pressure and concerns by management over the impact on productivity. These have both seen fundamental shifts in attitudes over the past few months, whereas personal enjoyment of remote working is little changed. The poll was developed jointly with Sheffield University Management School for a research study into remote working.
